Quince Barrique is one of the most refined expressions in our premium collection. Made from well-ripened quinces picked late in the autumn, it develops a rarely encountered aromatic complexity during ageing.

Tasting notes

Nose: quince compote, home-made preserve, vanilla and delicate floral notes.

Palate: rich, velvety and lingering, recalling the golden fruit of autumn and traditional family desserts.

Finish: the chestnut ageing brings depth and structure, while the cherry wood finish completes it with elegant red fruit and fine wood.

What do Barrique and sherry cask finish mean?

A barrique is a wooden cask of roughly 225 litres. The Barrique series spirits first mature in chestnut or oak casks, where they gain colour, roundness and notes of vanilla and dried fruit, then finish for a few months in a cask that held sherry, or in cherry wood, for extra sweetness and complexity.

How should palinka be served?

At 18–20 °C, in a tulip-shaped glass that concentrates the aromas. Do not keep it in the freezer: the cold hides the fruit. Let it rest in the glass for a minute before the first sip, then enjoy it in small sips.

Do you deliver across Romania? How long does it take?

Yes, we deliver by express courier anywhere in Romania. The parcel leaves on the working day after confirmation and usually arrives within 1–3 working days. Bottles are packed individually in protective boxes. Delivery costs 20 lei per order.

Can I order if I am under 18?

No. Alcoholic beverages are sold only to persons aged 18 or over. On delivery the courier may ask for ID and will not hand the parcel to a minor.
