Fruit palinka from the Ier Valley

The Zekulhyda fruit line is orchard palinka in its purest form: apple, pear, plum, apricot, cherry, quince and sour cherry, picked ripe within 30 km of Săcueni, in Bihor county. The fruit is fermented straight after harvest, with no added sugar, flavouring or colouring, then double distilled in small batches so the aroma of the fruit reaches the 350 ml bottle intact.

Each spirit has its own character — from the freshness of apple and the elegance of pear to the intensity of apricot and ripe plum — and several have won medals at Quintessence, Central Europe's largest palinka competition.
